Hello, I’m Yolanda Brown, the founder and manager of Brown Lilies Childcare, based in Luton, Bedfordshire.

With a strong background in education, childcare, and youth support, I have spent several years working as a teaching assistant and cover supervisor, supporting children of different ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

These experiences inspired me to create a nurturing, home-from-home childcare environment where little ones can grow, learn, and feel truly valued. At Brown Lilies Childcare, my aim is to provide a safe, loving, and stimulating space where every child receives personalised care and attention.

Brown Lilies Childcare presents itself as a nurturing and vibrant childcare community focused on creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

My Experience

Before launching Brown Lilies Childcare, I worked for several years in schools across Luton as both a teaching assistant and cover supervisor. These roles gave me valuable hands-on experience working closely with children of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

Throughout my time in education, I developed a strong understanding of how children grow, learn, communicate, and express themselves. I have supported children one-to-one, led group activities, helped with daily routines, and worked with children who needed additional support.

My experience has shaped my childcare approach: combining structure, creativity, patience, emotional support, and genuine care.

My Experience

My qualifications and practical experience give me a strong foundation in childcare, education, child development, safeguarding, and emotional support.
